HOT and Hotter

That’s what’s going on in the Panhandle. We started the spring and first part of summer with some nice rain but the well has gone dry to this point. Since July 7 it’s been nothing but 100 degree days and wind. Although it has cooled off today and there is a prospect of rain for the coming week. Let’s keep our fingers crossed

We still have some playas around so if we can get some rain they might just fill up for the fall migration. We have been talking some  of our farmers and the prospect for pheasant season is looking very good. There seem to be lot’s of Dove around and everyone say’s the Quail are everywhere. This might just be another one of those years you want to come to the Panhandle and get in on the FUN!!
